ProGYS 220E Fv Cel – No Accessories – Designed for the most demanding industry professionals, the PROGYS 220E FV CEL blends the latest welding
technology with an intuitive user interface. Its innovative ignition process allows the user to vertical-up and vertical-down weld very reliably with all types of electrodes up to Ø 5 mm, including cellulosic and aluminium-coated electrodes.

FOUR SPECIALIST WELDING MODES

MMA: Weld all rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and cellulosic electrodes up to Ø 5 mm.
Pulsed MMA: The ideal mode for vertical-up welding (for pipes and pipelines). Adjustable frequency and cold-current percentage.
DC TIG: Featuring Lift-Arc ignition (with electrodes between Ø 1.6 – 3.2 mm).
Pulsed TIG: Controls the metal’s melting temperature and enables the welding of sheet metal from 0.3 mm thick.

THREE MMA WELDING FEATURES

Adjustable Hot Start : For easier ignition.
Adjustable Arc Force : Automatically increases the current in difficult welding situations.
Antisticking : Reduces the risk of the electrode sticking to the workpiece when welding.

MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITY

Duty cycle of 60% at 175 A (40°C).
Stores up to ten different programs for each process for perfectly consistent welds.
Select the type of electrode required for optimal welding (predefined settings).
Optional remote control.
PFC (Power Factor Correction) technology means power cables can be up to 100 m long.
FV technology ensures a stable arc even with a varying mains current (85 – 265 V) or
when used with a varying power current supplied from a welding-machine.
Current and voltage are displayed during and after welding (DMOS/QMOS).
Optimised cooling system designed for industrial use.

USER PROTECTION

A VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) can be turned on to reduce the no-load output voltage < 35 V.
Lockable keypad prevents operating errors.

RESILIENT

Reinforced casing and anti-shock pads on all sides.
IP23 protection level for outdoor use.
PROTEC 400 technology protects against overvoltages up to 400 V.
